Update I

Well, I said I wasn't good at keeping diaries, and trying to keep two at the same time is pushing the limits. So I have my swenglish diary kind of not very up to date. I am sorry for that, great opportunity for learning Spanish? I will do short updates periodically to catch up with the spanish version, for those of you who don't have time for learning a new language. So here it goes my first update:
- We rescued the part of the sample holder we had lost and one of the samples. Of course, Murphy's law is the most important law of physics, and my best sample is still down there.
- I had to redo the wiring, fighting with not so easy to handle phosphor bronze wires for quite a while, and I still have a bit to go.
- Apart from work, I had time to visit Chicago on sunday, go to the movies, swim, get a car, go to some of those parking lots surrounded by stores (Americans called them plaza, and I guess they see them as stores with a parking lot, rather than the opposite, but I believe they are monuments to the greatness of cars).
